Terms of Service

Welcome to Issa Compass, a service provided by Issa Platforms Pte. Ltd. (“Issa Platforms,” “we,” “us,” “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Issa Compass mobile application and any related services (collectively, the “Service”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Key Terms

  • “User” or “you” refers to anyone who accesses or uses the Service.
  • “Content” refers to all data, documents, text, images, and other information provided by you or generated by the Service.
  • “Visa Application” refers to the process facilitated by Issa Compass to assist users in applying for immigration visas to Thailand.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

3. Modifications to the Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. If we make changes, we will provide you with notice through the Service or via email. Your continued use of the Service following the notice of changes will constitute your acceptance of the revised Terms.

4. Eligibility

To use the Service, you must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a legally binding contract.

5. User Accounts

5.1. Account Creation

To access certain features of the Service, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during the registration process and to update such information to keep it accurate, current, and complete.

5.2. Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your password and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify Issa Platforms immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

6. User Responsibilities

6.1. Accurate Information

You must provide accurate and truthful information when using the Service, particularly when uploading documents such as passports, banking information, and employer information.

6.2. Compliance with Laws

You agree to comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations, including immigration laws and data protection laws, when using the Service.

6.3. Use of Information for Immigration Compliance

Issa Platforms may use information beyond the visa application for other immigration compliance steps on your behalf to support your compliance process.

6.4. Disclaimer of Professional Services

Issa Platforms has an immigration expert team that assists users in guiding and reviewing the visa application process. While our team provides expert guidance and support, Issa Platforms does not provide formal legal or professional advisory services. The Service is designed to assist users in managing and facilitating their visa applications. All content and guidance provided through the Service are for informational purposes only and should not be considered formal legal advice or a legal relationship. For formal professional legal or immigration services, users are advised to consult with licensed professionals.

6.5. Prohibited Activities

  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
  • Upload or transmit any false, misleading, or fraudulent content.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users’ accounts or the Service.
  • Engage in any activity that disrupts or interferes with the Service or its performance.

7. Payment Terms

7.1. Payment Methods

We accept various payment methods, including QR code, credit card, and bank transfers. By using a payment method, you represent and warrant that you are authorized to use the payment method.

7.2. Fees and Charges

You agree to pay all fees and charges associated with your use of the Service, as specified during the application process.

7.3. Refunds and Cancellations

If your visa application is deemed ineligible, we will refund the application fee minus any processing and service fees. If you cancel your application, you will receive a refund minus any processing and service fees.

7.4. Payment Disputes

In case of a dispute regarding a payment, you agree to notify us immediately and cooperate with us to resolve the issue. We will review the dispute and may require additional information from you.

8. Service Availability and Disclaimers

8.1. Service Availability

We strive to provide the Service in a timely manner but do not guarantee specific availability or response times.

8.2. Disclaimers

Issa Platforms assists with the visa application process by verifying eligibility and the correctness of submitted documents. However, final approval of any visa application is at the discretion of the relevant government authorities. Issa Platforms is not responsible for any delays, rejections, or compliance issues arising from government authorities or your failure to meet deadlines or provide accurate information.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Issa Platforms will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of incomes or compensation, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service;
  • Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service, including without limitation, any defamatory, offensive, or illegal conduct of other users or third parties;
  • Any unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content;
  • The outcome of any visa application processed through the Service.

10. Content Ownership and License

10.1. Your Content

You retain ownership of the content you upload to the Service. By submitting content, you grant Issa Platforms a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, store, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service. This license is strictly limited to the application process and does not include the right to reproduce, distribute, or disclose your private personal legal information, such as passports, visas, or bank statements, except as necessary to fulfill the Service or as required by law.

10.2. Issa Platforms Content

All content provided by Issa Platforms, including text, images, logos, and software, is the property of Issa Platforms and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use, reproduce, or distribute Issa Platforms content without our prior written permission.

11. Termination and Suspension

11.1. Termination by You

You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@getissa.com.

11.2. Termination by Issa Platforms

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you:

  • Violate these Terms.
  • Engage in fraudulent or illegal activities.
  • Attempt to hack or misuse the Service.
  • Fail to pay for services rendered.

11.3. Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. Any outstanding payments will still be due, and you will not be entitled to a refund for services already provided.

12. Third-Party Links and Referrals

The Service may contain links or referrals to third-party websites or services, including licensed immigration agencies or legal advisors. Issa Platforms does not endorse or assume any responsibility for the content, products, or services offered by third parties. Users access these third-party services at their own risk and should review the terms and policies of any third party before using their services.

13. Jurisdiction and Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms or the use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.

14. Dispute Resolution

14.1. Informal Dispute Resolution

Before resorting to legal action, you agree to try to resolve any disputes with us informally by contacting support@getissa.com. We will attempt to resolve the dispute within 30 days of receiving your communication.

15. Notices

All notices or other communications required or permitted to be given under these Terms shall be in writing and delivered to Issa Platforms at the following address: 32 Pekin Street #05-01, Singapore (048762).

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any other legal notices published by Issa Platforms, constitute the entire agreement between you and Issa Platforms concerning the Service.

17. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

18. Waiver

No waiver of any term of these Terms shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of such term or any other term, and Issa Platforms’ failure to assert any right or provision under these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.
